Vintage Minerva 10 second timer

Description: Minerva is famous for making superb precision timers, like this 10-second stopwatch. The timer is in very good condition; it fully winds, starts, stops and re-sets to ‘0.’ Dial is excellent. Crystal has very minor scratches. Stainless steel case is well preserved and measures 57mm. Exterior caseback has surface scratches and is engraved, “114.” Because the quality of the engraving is quite professional, it’s possible that the timer belonged to a high-level sports organization, perhaps involved in auto racing, swimming, track & field, etc.
