Beautiful used POLJOT 2209 dress watch made in former Soviet Union. This is a VERY thin watch, measuring only 8mm thick including the domed crystal. The case diameter is 35mm (the same as my vintage Omega Constellation) and is all stainless steel (export models were stainless, domestic models were chrome plated brass). Lug width is 18mm, making it easy to find straps.
It is a classic 1960s style with incised indices and a quirky 1960s font for the Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12. The dial is domed and finished in a beautiful silver sunburst, which under the domed acrylic crystal catches light beautifully.
This is a manual wind mechanical movement with 23 jewels from the late 1960s or early 1970s that is running well and keeps good time. It comes on a black leather strap that is unworn (I wore it on a Milanese mesh and an ostrict skin strap, neither of which are included).
