Seiko 6138-0011, known as “UFO” and also “Yachtsman” automatic chronograph, original Vintage from 1976. The 6138 line of automatic chronograph was improvement on famed 6139 reference, with addition of hand winding ability and hacking and quickset day-date. SE Asia “Thong Sia” distributed version, with original Stelux bracelet and Roman/English day wheel. Big bold 70’s style with original brushing on case, excellent clean dial. Overall fine example. Movie watch fans may recall this watch was worn by Jean Paul Belmondo in "Le Magnifique", with Jacqueline Bisset. This is a large bold 70's watch.

Caseback original, in excellent condition no significant scratches. I have not worn this outside of the house since purchase in 2023.

Serviced in Jan 2023 by well known UK seller just prior to my purchase- (no formal records however)
Running very well, keeps good vintage time, quickset works smoothly, day change normal.

DIAL:
Original black Dial with 2 different size subdials, Seiko applied logo, all print intact and original
Original stainless steel crown. Original notched pushers, with normal chono start stop, reset to 0.
Appears to be new crystal, no scratches or cracks.

Original Stelux made bracelet with raised Seiko logo, excellent, fits 7/34-8” wrist comfortably

The import duty for watches from Japan is 15%, plus a small handling fee which will be calculated prior to shipping and added to invoice. This is a new policy effective Aug 29 2025.
