It’s hard to say IWC is “having a moment.” I mean they’ve been making incredible time pieces for over 150 years. But right now they seem to be everywhere (including Brad Pitt’s wrist.) Sapphire crystal has a little bit of the standard UV film wear seen under a loupe/at the right angle but all in looks fantastic. CASE: The 41MM brushed case with polished bezel for some nice contrast. Has some wear throughout, mostly on the case sides and bezel but looks great on and wears perfectly (photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist.) MOVEMENT: Sweet automatic cal 69385 seen through the sapphire case back. Comes fully regulated by my watchmaker, with chronograph snapping back perfectly to 12 and keeping great time.
