If you’re looking for a completely original 60’s Carrera 2447s, this might be the one for you.
This is hands down the nicest 2447s I’ve seen for some time. It is completely correct and original, down to the pushers, crystal and crown, the dial is utterly excellent and the original lume has aged to the most beautiful yellow hue. This is one of the earliest sunburst silver dials after the eggshell white dials were discontinued. It retains the early version of the valjoux 72 movement and the correct unsigned crown. Overall a stunning watch in completely unmolested condition.
Very, very reluctant sale to free up some cash.

Dial:
Utterly wonderful silver sunburst dial in excellent condition, factory original, not restored, refinished or relumed. Until the early 6xxxx serials, the first Carreras had eggshell white dials, before moving to the silver sunburst dials from the mid 60’s. This is one of the earliest silver sunburst dials.
The lume on both the hands and dial is original and has aged to a most attractive yellow colour.
Being silver, many of these display moderate to severe ageing, damage and patina. This dial is excellent with little no ageing whatsoever. Some tiny specs of dust around the 11 o’clock marker.

Case:
Stainless steel case ref 2447 is excellent condition. Lovely and sharp and I believe unpolished. Very light surface wear but no damage or corrosion. Original finish throughout. Original unsigned crown, crystal and pushers which is almost unheard of.
Serial 63xxx which is at the very start of the silver dials.

Movement:
Original valjoux 72. Being an early version, it retains the correct early version of the v72 movement. No damage or corrosion. All functions work as they should. Service history is unknown.

Strap:
Modern plain black leather strap in keeping with the straps that originally came on the early Carreras (pre beads of rice bracelets). With vintage genuine Heuer sun buckle.

Overall this is a stunning watch. The originality and condition are a league above what is usually for offered and this is a very reluctant sale on my part.
