Hi! Selling this stunning Seiko Turtle Save the Ocean Special edition. The watch has the very cool 'Blue Whale' dial that features a blue waves pattern and ion-plated black stainless steel, my photos don't do it justice. Price: $299 including shipping worldwide The watch comes with original boxes and booklets, no extra links all links are installed (fits wrist up to 19cm-7.5inch). Condition: ALMOST spotless, I could only find a single faint hairline scratch on the caseback. The case, dial, crystal, bracelet, clasp etc are all spotless. Dimensions: Thickness:13.4mm, Diameter:45.0mm and 22mm lug to lug. Movement: Automatic + manual wind 4R36-05H0 with 21,600 vibrations/hour (6 vibrations/sec), 24 jewels. 41hr power reserve and hackable with Second Hand Hacking and Stop Function. Lumibrite on hands and index(es), Day- and date function and 200m / 660ft diver's water resistance. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
