Rolex Submariner transitional ref. 168000 aka “Triple Zero” from 1986 Not only does a “Triple Zero” rarely pop up, but this one also delivers with patina in a thicc, sharp case.  This era mark when Rolex ended serials starting with numbers and started with letters. Perks of such an era? Vintage elements such as “open” font in the datewheel but updated crown system as well as 904L steel. Lastly, the dial is showing signs of spidering or wild aging pattern.
