Andrew Grima is perhaps one of the most important watch designers of the 20th century, alongside the likes of Gerald Genta, and is regarded as the father of modern jewelry design. He was commissioned by Omega to design a brand-new watch collection. The original 50 or so pieces designed by Grima and handmade in Bienne by Omega's artisans are among the rarest and most desirable watches ever made by the brand. This watch was made in the 1970s, based on the original Grima designs. This extremely rare emerald sapphire crystal Tank is one of the coolest pieces available on the market. Over time, exposure to sunlight has turned the dial from blue to a beautifully patinaed hue. The bracelet fits a large wrist 7.2 inches.
