Our story begins with an Invicta Prodiver in classic 40mm diameter, with 20mm lug width and 47mm lug-to-lug, powered by Seiko's NH35 hacking and handwinding automatic movement, running beautifully. I've taken that robust platform and modded in an aftermarket orange dial with applied, lume filled indices, and the iconic "plongeur" handset of Omega's Seamaster. I've also added a new 24-hour bezel insert with gold numbers to add some sophistication to the proceedings. Perhaps my favorite part of this watch is the profile where the new domed crystal perfectly meets the slope of the bezel insert, given the watch a real touch of quality and look of cohesion on-wrist. I've also polished off the Invicta branding from the case flank and the crown to sterilize the look and then I returned the case side to a beautiful high polish finish. The case, bezel, crystal, and movement are all in pristine condition. The very comfortable rubber strap has a nice orange contrast stitching to go with the whole theme, and is unworn.
