The Fears Brunswick is tied together by its softly rounded cushion case, not by a single diameter or movement. Introduced in 2017 with a shape drawn from a Fears watch of 1924, it has grown from a compact, hand-wound design into a family that includes automatic models and a distinctly different jumping-hour display.

The original Brunswick 38 established the familiar combination of Arabic numerals, openworked hands and small seconds at six. Its cushion outline gives it a different presence from a round watch of the same nominal diameter: the corners contribute substance without sharp edges. The Brunswick 40 brought a larger case, automatic winding and central seconds, changing both the proportions and the dial’s rhythm. Dial finishes and numeral treatments vary across the family, so the Brunswick name alone doesn’t identify one fixed configuration.

The Brunswick Jump Hour takes another direction altogether. An hour aperture replaces the conventional hour hand, while a single hand tracks the minutes. It preserves the cushion-case character but reads very differently from its three-hand relatives, with the hour changing in a discrete jump rather than a continuous sweep.
