Pacific

The Credor Pacific—also known as Pacifique—belongs to the brand’s sportier side, where sculpted cases and carefully worked bracelets take precedence over dress-watch restraint. Its history runs from quartz and Kinetic models to mechanically ambitious later watches, so the family name describes a design direction rather than one movement, size, or silhouette.

The earlier bracelet models have a distinctly 1990s vocabulary: rounded contours, substantial bezel detailing, and case-to-bracelet transitions that make the whole watch feel conceived as one piece. Quartz examples include the 8J81 caliber, while Kinetic versions bring a rotor-driven generating system rather than a conventional automatic movement. Similar-looking Pacific watches can therefore have quite different machinery underneath.

By the early 2000s, the family also included more angular cases and busier mechanical displays. The Pacific Retrograde uses the automatic 4S77, combining a retrograde weekday indication with date and a separate 24-hour display. The Pacific Chronograph takes another route, with elapsed-time counters and pushers; chronographs themselves span quartz and mechanical versions, not merely different dials on the same watch.
