The Autodromo Group B takes its name from the unruly rally category of the 1980s, and its dial borrows the stark graphics of a dashboard tachometer rather than dressing up as a conventional sports watch. The more interesting engineering is underneath: a titanium capsule holds the movement, surrounded by a stainless-steel framework that gives the case its distinctive, skeletal profile.
The original Group B arrived on nylon straps; the later Series 2 brought a fitted steel bracelet that makes the whole design feel more cohesive. Choose the earlier watch for its lightweight, strap-led character, or Series 2 if the bracelet is central to what draws you in. Both use the automatic Miyota 9015, whose unidirectional winding can produce noticeable rotor noise—a characteristic worth knowing about, rather than automatically mistaking for a fault.
