Hi everyone, Letting go of this 1969 Omega Seamaster Date ref. 166.003 – a classic straight-lug Seamaster with the workhorse cal. 565 inside. Slim case around 34mm, sunburst silver dial, and a clean, versatile look that works with anything from a t-shirt to a dress shirt. The movement has been freshly serviced by my watchmaker and is running well. It’s a simple, honest example on an aftermarket strap – a great pick if you want a solid vintage Omega you can actually wear and enjoy. # Condition **Dial:** Original silver sunburst dial in very nice condition. Printing is crisp, applied logo and indices are clean. There are a couple of tiny dark spots around the center/hand stack that are barely visible to the naked eye and mainly show up under certain angles or close inspection. On the wrist it presents very well. **Case:** Stainless steel case around 34mm (excl. crown) with straight lugs. Honest wear from age with surface hairlines here and there. There are a couple of scratches on the bottom-right lug that can be seen at certain angles/lighting – shown clearly in the photos. Seahorse caseback medallion is still well defined. Watch-only, no box or papers. **Crystal:** Domed acrylic crystal in good condition no major chips or cracks. Nothing distracting in daily use. **Crown:** Signed Omega crown, winds and sets smoothly. Quickset date via pull-push function works as it should. **Movement:** Automatic Omega cal. 565, 24 jewels, date. Freshly serviced by my watchmaker and running well in all positions. Service paperwork not included, but I stand behind the watch. **Strap:** Aftermarket 18mm black leather strap with matching buckle, lightly worn and ready to go.
