[Timestamp](https://imgur.com/a/XpajzoH) Greetings, Up for sale is this super cool vintage Omega Seamaster f300 "tuning fork". 36mm diameter w/o crown, 19mm lug width, 41mm end to end. Dial is a blue-gray, with subtle vertical texturing. Service history unknown, but it is running smoothly (with a gorgeous sweeping second hand), battery was just replaced, and it keeps excellent time. Signed caseback and crown. Will include four extra 19mm straps, as pictured. [This site](https://electric-watches.co.uk/makers/omega/omega-f300-tuning-fork/omega-f300-seamaster/) has a good writeup of the tuning fork movement and models. It gets its name from the characteristic hum that can be heard if you hold the watch to your ear. A precursor to quartz, the tuning fork movement is perhaps most famous from the Bulova Accutron. The ESA 9162 movement in this watch is the “Rolls Royce” of tuning fork movements, designed by Max Hetzel, who had previously worked for Bulova. Asking **$850** shipped, via Venmo or paypal F&F, or happy to meet F2F in Boston area.
