I’m offering for sale my 10-month old Islander Brookville ISL-37 automatic watch, with a salmon dial and high-beat (28,800 bph) Miyota 9015 movement. This Islander watch has a classic and tasteful 38mm x 11mm stainless steel case design. The sides are polished and the top has a fine brushed finish. The salmon color dial features applied silver hour markers filled with Super Luminova. The sleek silver hands are also filled with Super Luminova for viewing the time in the dark. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal guards against scratches and provides an exceptionally clear view of the time and date. This watch is sold out at the Islander website. My asking price is $249.00.
The Miyota 9015 automatic movement can be hand wound and hacked and has a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement is visible via an exhibition window caseback. The ISL-37 is rated at 100 meters of water resistance, and includes a screw-down crown.
The watch comes with a jubilee-style stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp for easy on and off. The bracelet links are solid, as are the end-links. The lug width is 20mm. Sizing is made easier with the use of a screws instead of the more common pins. I’m including the original box, cards, etc. and all links that were removed when the watch was sized.
This watch is in excellent cosmetic condition and is running at about +7 seconds per day. Check my high resolution photos, and judge for yourself.
