Up for sale is an unworn Oris Big Crown Pointer Date with Caliber 403 and inky dark blue dial. About the watch: The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date is a classic from one of the few truly independent Swiss manufacturers. To me, Oris embody the essence of unpretentious, high quality watchmaking -- that is especially so with this model with their independently designed Caliber 403, made to resemble their bear logo. The dial is a deep inky, glossy blue and it's a strap monster for any 19mm strap you can throw at it. At 38mm in diameter, 45.7mm lug-to-lug, and 12.2mm thick (including a large domed sapphire crystal), it's a comfortable fit on any wrist. And since this watch hwas bought from an authorized dealer, it carries the full 10 year Oris warranty, the longest of any swiss watch, and specific to the 403 family of movements. Condition: Unworn, with no scratches anywhere on the case. Removed from plastic. Replaced the factory strap with an epsom leather 19mm strap with quickadjust spring bars. I kept the original Oris buckle and tang, which can be put on any strap. I didn't like the stock strap, as I felt it was low quality. Purchased new, from an authorized dealer, in October 2023. Ended up buying it and having to travel for a while, so haven't had a chance to wear. Scope: Includes everything in the original package (except the original strap) -- the watch, manual, stamped warranty card, hang tag, original buckle and tang, warranty hang tag, inner and outer boxes.
