For sale is a very rare Seiko SCVG005. This is a manual wind reference produced for a very short time during the 1990's; one could argue this is the predecessor for many Seikos and Grand Seikos to follow. A classic, beautiful dress watch. The cursive "Diashock 21 Jewels" on the dial is just insanely cool.

This watch features the manual-wind three-hand Calibre 4S24, with 21 jewels and beats at 28800bph. High beat, chronometer grade movement. More information regarding the movement can be found here Seiko 4S24. It is definitely an uncommon Seiko movement, as these were only developed by Seiko in the 90s.

Condition: There are usual minor signs of wear on the case with common hairline scratches, though the watch presents in excellent condition on the wrist. Dial and hands are perfect. A brand new crystal was recently professionally installed. The watch comes on a handcrafted, top-grain leather strap with quick release spring bars; this strap has a beautiful blue-green hue to it. Also included is a brand new, handcrafted top-grain black leather strap, also with quick release spring bars. The watch will come in a handcrafted travel pouch.
