Ever since Omega introduced this revamped Seamaster, I was in love with its blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality and build. I picked it up as soon as I could and it’s been a regular in the rotation since. The ceramic bezel is not only scratch-resistant but adds a layer of sophistication that makes the watch pop in all lighting conditions. I don’t know why Omega decided to move away from the ceramic in newer iterations, but I think it complements the pebbled black dial and the vintage lume-coated hands and indices. I get comments on this watch regularly, with most asking if it’s a vintage piece. Which I love. (It is a vintage inspired design after all). The bracelet is a dream to wear. The push adjustment capability in the clasp makes it dead simple to resize when needed, which I use all the time living in the heat of the south. The bracelet and clasp do show light signs of wear, which is normal, but both could be polished back to new if you preferred. Overall condition is very good, and it’s keeping near perfect time; well within COSC spec. I am parting with this watch to make room for something new.
