For sale: a gorgeous Tissot Telemeter 1938 in near mint condition. The watch itself could use a little polish with a microfibre cloth but the glass is clean, as is the case aside from a minor hairline scratch or two only visible under harsh, direct light due to the brushed finish. The dial on this watch is a stunning brushed silver with black numerals and red, black and blue type. The blued hands add to the vintage nature of this piece. The band is a padded, supple vegan leather and closes with a signed butterfly clasp. The watch keeps excellent time (roughly +4 sec/day) but YMMV. I picked this watch up from a fellow Redditor on a whim. I’d always wanted one of these but always hemmed and hawed over the price. The only reason I am selling this watch is that it’s just a tad too big for me. Technically, it fits my wrist, but I often buy vintage pieces or newer watches with smaller proportions. If this were just a tad shorter lug to lug, I’d be wearing this thing all the time. I am not trying to make anything off of this sale. I am offering the watch at $775 USD shipped and insured from Australia. I am looking to net around $700 after shipping and any other charges and this is FAR BELOW retail of $2,125 USD. Please contact me with any questions or alternate offers (no trades please). I don’t have a huge amount of wiggle room on price but feel free to send best offers.
