Commercial API Terms
Last updated: October 8, 2026
These Commercial API Terms ("API Terms") are an agreement between 60Clicks Media, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("WatchPatrol", "we", "us"), and the business that subscribes to the WatchPatrol Commercial plan ("Customer", "you"). By subscribing, you agree to these API Terms on behalf of that business and confirm that you are authorized to do so.
These API Terms add to the WatchPatrol Terms of Use, which also apply to your use of the Service. If these API Terms conflict with the Terms of Use, these API Terms control for the Commercial plan and the API.
1. Definitions
- "API" means the WatchPatrol REST API at /api/public/v1/ and its documentation.
- "API Data" means any data you receive through the API, including listing records, photos and photo links, catalog data, pricing aggregates, price history, and seller information.
- "Aggregated Data" means statistics derived from many listings that do not identify, reproduce or link to any individual listing, seller or photo. Examples are a price range, median or trend for a watch model.
- "Credentials" means the API keys and access tokens issued to your account.
- "Subscription Term" means each monthly billing period for which you have paid.
2. Access
During each Subscription Term, we will give your account access to the API at the usage limits for the Commercial plan. You create and manage Credentials on the API Keys page of your account. You are responsible for all use made with your Credentials, must keep them confidential, and must tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe they have been compromised. We may revoke and reissue any Credential at any time.
3. License
Subject to these API Terms and timely payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license during the Subscription Term to access the API and use API Data for your own internal business purposes, such as sourcing inventory, pricing, and market research. You may also publish Aggregated Data as permitted in section 5.
API Data includes information that third-party sellers published on other websites. We do not own that underlying content, and this license grants only the rights we are able to grant. Nothing in these API Terms transfers ownership of any API Data or of the Service to you.
4. Restrictions
Except as section 5 allows, you will not:
- sell, resell, license, rent, publish, redistribute or otherwise make API Data available to any third party, whether or not you charge for it;
- use API Data to build, train, improve or supply a product or service that competes with WatchPatrol, including a listing aggregator, price guide, valuation tool or dataset;
- use API Data to train or fine-tune machine-learning models, other than models used solely inside your own business for the purposes in section 3;
- use seller usernames, contact details or other personal information in API Data for anything other than a genuine inquiry about a listing, or for marketing, profiling, or any purpose that would violate applicable privacy law;
- share Credentials with anyone outside your business, or use multiple accounts or Credentials to exceed your usage limits;
- access the Service through means other than the API to collect data, including scraping the website or apps, or using the MCP server for scheduled or automated collection; or
- remove or obscure any attribution or notice we include in API Data.
You may keep API Data you received while subscribed for your internal records after your subscription ends, but the restrictions in this section continue to apply to it.
5. Publishing Aggregated Data
You may publish Aggregated Data in your own newsletters, websites, social media posts, reports and customer communications, as long as:
- each publication credits WatchPatrol as the source, with a link to www.watchpatrol.net where the medium allows one (for example, "Market data via WatchPatrol");
- you do not reproduce individual listings, listing text, photos, seller usernames or other seller information, or links to individual listings;
- the publication does not, alone or combined with other publications, amount to a substitute for the Service or a systematic copy of API Data; and
- you do not suggest that WatchPatrol endorses you, your business or your conclusions.
We may ask you to change or stop a use of Aggregated Data that we reasonably believe breaks this section, and you will do so promptly.
6. Usage limits
The Commercial plan includes the usage limits shown on the API Keys page of your account and returned in each API response's rate-limit headers. At launch these are 120 requests per minute and 15,000 requests per day. We may set different limits for your account by agreement. We may change plan limits on at least 30 days' notice, and may temporarily throttle or suspend access without notice to protect the Service from abuse, attack or overload. Requests over a limit are refused, not billed.
Your Commercial plan also removes the daily cap on your account's use of the WatchPatrol MCP server. Section 6 of the Terms of Use still applies: the MCP server is for interactive use, and scheduled or automated collection must use the API.
7. Fees and billing
The Commercial plan costs US $199 per month, or the price shown at checkout if different, billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where these API Terms say otherwise. Fees exclude taxes; you are responsible for any sales, use or similar taxes, other than taxes on our income.
We may change the price on at least 30 days' notice by email, effective at the start of your next billing period after the notice period. If a payment fails and is not resolved within 14 days, we may suspend API access until it is paid.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through Manage billing on the Integrations page or the Stripe billing portal linked from your subscription emails, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. When your subscription ends, your account returns to the free plan and your Credentials stop working.
9. About the data
API Data is collected automatically from listings that third parties publish on forums and marketplaces we do not control. Brand and model matches, prices, pricing aggregates, valuations and seller signals are generated automatically and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Pricing data reflects asking prices, not confirmed sale prices. Listings may be sold, changed or withdrawn without that being reflected in API Data, and the API does not report whether a listing has sold. You are responsible for your own decisions and due diligence, including verifying any listing, seller or watch before a transaction. We have no obligation to store, back up or keep confidential any API Data on your behalf.
10. Changes to the API
We may change, add or remove API endpoints, fields and features. We will try to give at least 30 days' notice by email of changes that remove or break existing functionality, except where a faster change is needed for security, legal or operational reasons. If a change materially reduces the API's usefulness to you, you may cancel and we will refund the unused portion of the current billing period.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Sections 13 (Disclaimers) and 14 (Limitation of liability) of the Terms of Use apply to the API and API Data. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY LEVEL OF AVAILABILITY, UPTIME OR RESPONSE TIME FOR THE API. Our total liability for all claims relating to the API, API Data and these API Terms will not exceed the fees you paid us for the Commercial plan in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these API Terms limits your liability for breaching sections 4 or 5, or your obligations under section 12.
12. Your responsibilities
You will comply with all laws that apply to your use of API Data, including privacy, consumer protection and marketing laws. You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless 60Clicks Media, LLC and its members, employees and suppliers from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or publication of API Data or your breach of these API Terms.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your API access, with or without notice, if you breach these API Terms or the Terms of Use, if your use creates security, legal or operational risk, or if required by law. If we terminate for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of the current billing period. We may also discontinue the Commercial plan on at least 60 days' notice. Sections 3 (second paragraph), 4, 5, 9, 11, 12 and 15 continue after these API Terms end.
14. Changes to these API Terms
We may update these API Terms. We will email you at least 30 days before material changes take effect. If you continue your subscription after that, you accept the updated API Terms; if you do not agree, you may cancel before they take effect.
15. General
These API Terms, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and WatchPatrol about the Commercial plan and the API. They are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. You may not assign these API Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Notices to you go to your account email; notices to us go to [email protected].
