Today I am offering a very rare timepiece for sale: Precista PRS-17A 'Mil-Sub' by Eddie from Timefactors. This was released only one-time with 100 quantities in 2003, was designed in GB by Eddie and manufactured by Fricker GmbH, Germany (unfortunately no Timefactors timepieces are produced by Fricker as of mid 2000, as the company is no longer around).
*Not my photo: Common denominator
*Not my photo:
*Actual watch (see more photos in the imgur album)
This is a faithful re-issue of the 1988-1989 British Royal Navy issued 'Precista 1989' that had Tritium (hence "T" on the dial rather than "L" on this one" luminescent on the dial, and with mineral glass and quartz movement. As some of you may have noticed that the case of this timepiece look familiar, and that is because it shares the same case design as the ultra-rare Sinn 815, as well as Tutima's issued model for the same era. This is a highly sought-after model as discussed by members of TZ-UK , but Eddie confirmed that neither quartz or automatic version will ever be produced again.
Specs (from official archive of product page):
Dimensions: This watch wears very similar to 5 digit Rolex Submariners due to its relatively flat case shape despite of the smaller case dimensions.
What's included: Original cylinder-shape box, cleaning cloth, extra insert, extra crown, and grey/black nato strap. Grey Erika's Original strap is not included, and can be purchased with additional $60.
Reason of selling: I am saving up for another purchase to consolidate my collection at the end of the year.
