Hello WUS,

Today I am offering a very rare timepiece for sale: Precista PRS-17A 'Mil-Sub' by Eddie from Timefactors. This was released only one-time with 100 quantities in 2003, was designed in GB by Eddie and manufactured by Fricker GmbH, Germany (unfortunately no Timefactors timepieces are produced by Fricker as of mid 2000, as the company is no longer around).
This is a faithful re-issue of the 1988-1989 British Royal Navy issued 'Precista 1989' that had Tritium (hence "T" on the dial rather than "L" on this one" luminescent on the dial, and with mineral glass and quartz movement. As some of you may have noticed that the case of this timepiece look familiar, and that is because it shares the same case design as the ultra-rare Sinn 815, as well as Tutima's issued model for the same era. This is a highly sought-after model as discussed by members of TZ-UK , but Eddie confirmed that neither quartz or automatic version will ever be produced again.

Specs (from official archive of product page):
Dimensions:
Others:
  • Underside-only AR coated sapphire crystal
  • Anti-magnetic 4800 A/m
  • WR 200 metres, double 'O' ring seals on case back
  • 70 grammes without strap
  • Screw down crown
  • 120 click unidirectional bezel
  • Drilled lug holes for easy strap changes
  • ETA2824-2
Condition: It has hairline scratches throughout from normal wears, but there is no noticeable deep scratches. The sapphire crystal and bezel insert are free of scratch. The bezel turns and clicks nicely. Crown screws and unscrews, as well as winds very well. Timekeeping is around between 1 to 2.3 spd depending on the position but YMMV (it was serviced prior to my purchase from the previous owner), and has good amplitude with no beat error.
What's included: Original cylinder-shape box, cleaning cloth, extra insert, extra crown, and grey/black nato strap. Grey Erika's Original strap is not included, and can be purchased with additional $60.
Reason of selling: I am saving up for another purchase to consolidate my collection at the end of the year.

I’m looking to get reduced to $608 (from $649 from $699) net to me, including shipping to CONUS via shipping via USPS CONUS and via Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle. I am located in Northern Florida.

May be interested in a vintage/vintage-inspired dive watch under 39mm as well (i.e. Lorier, W.M.T., Baltic, etc.)

I have plenty of reference from Reddit, WUS, and eBay, so buy it with confidence. Since I’m not a dealer but just a hobbyist, I don’t accept returns unless something isn’t mentioned among my sale post. Please ask as many questions as you need to prior.
