For some background on the watch, it’s an interesting piece for several reasons as is the case with most Ball Watches. First this is the first automatic day-date GMT timepiece according to Ball. Additionally, the GMT hand is independently set by the pushers on the side of the case in one hour increments forward and back. Despite all the bells and whistles on the movement it also is a chronometer and I recently brought it in to a Ball AD in town to check amplitude and it is running within COSC standards. Like other Ball watches they use tritium tubes for lum on the watch dials and hands, these tubes don’t need to be “charged” to gain luminescence and trust me the lum is bright and clear. Additionally, on the aluminum 24-hour bezel each number has lum as well, this makes this watch super legible in low light. Lastly the watch case is made of titanium, it is super lite as to what you would expect based on looks. Also, its 40mm so it’s not a behemoth!

Overall, I really like the watch and am slightly sad to let it go but I already have one GMT and I don’t really need two. The watch comes with the box and papers, I also have an Erika’s Originals strap as well. Condition wise I don’t have any real cosmetic flaws other than some desk diving swirls on the bracelet and some light signs of strap change on the inside of the lugs. Feel free to make offers, I try to respond as quickly as possible and don’t be shy the worst that can happen is you offer and I politely say no. I am an enthusiast and not doing this as a business so I am looking to explore as many watches as possible while I’m relatively young so don’t feel silly we have all been there.
