For sale is a rare carbon fiber dial Credor Phoenix 8L75-0A10 in very good condition. Please do read the note on the crown below.

I tried to look up the exact model number for this carbon fiber dial version, but could find nothing via google. As far as I can tell, this could well be a limited edition variant of the Phoenix 3 hander. I've simply not seen another one like it online.

For those unfamiliar, Credor is Seiko's JDM-only luxury brand (an intro to Credor). While many Credor models are exotic watches adorned with precious metal, the Phoenix line from the early 2000's was a rare series of "conventional" sport watches from the brand. The watch for sale here is the 3-hand variant with a carbon fiber dial, with the integrated bracelet. The high-beat 8L75 automatic movement is a more refined version of the 8L35 found in the Marine Master, and from the 9S family of movements used in many Grand Seikos. Here are a couple of reviews that go into great detail on this Phoenix model:

Specs are as follows:
  • Case width: 38mm (w/o crown)
  • Lug to lug length: 45mm
  • Lug spacing: 18mm
  • Thickness: 12.5mm
  • Crystal: Sapphire
  • Movement: Seiko 8L75 automatic 28.8k bph
  • WR rating: 100 meters

The crown screws down with only about a half rotation, which indicates that the threading on the crown or crown tube is worn down. A watchmaker may be able to repair this, and I've accounted for this in the price.

The watch is otherwise in very good condition. There is some minor sign of wear on the case and the bracelet. The domed crystal is perfect. The movement is running well and keeping excellent time. With all links in the bracelet, I measured the circumference to be 8 in. The watch comes with the box, but no papers.
