Up for sale is this gorgeous JLC boutique-exclusive Memovox limited edition of 500 pieces, Ref. 141848J, issued to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first Memovox. The beauty comes cased in a 40mm x 14mm stainless steel case, water resistant to 50m, and features the Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 956 self-winding alarm movement, with a beautiful ringing sound. What sets this model apart from the other current Memovox in the JLC collection is the beautiful blue-gray dial, a homage to the legendary Memovox Snowdrop of the 1970s. Baton hands with a luminescent coating move around a white “railtrack” minute circle, which delineates the outer rim of the sunray-finish blue inner disc. Here is ensconced the little triangle that acts as the alarm hand, and also glows in the dark. Moving across an opaline blue surface, the triple-faceted hour-markers are also coated in luminescent material and overlaid by a grey-blue “railtrack” minute circle.
