For sale is a Seiko Prospex Shogun SBDC029. I modded the watch myself with a Crystaltimes single-dome sapphire w/blue AR and laser-engraved steel chapter ring.

You probably already know this watch, but all the technical specs can be found here: Seiko Watches - Prospex 200M Automatic Titanium Shogun Ref. SBDC029.

As for this one, it's in good condition. I bought it from another member here, so I am not the first owner. It has typical desk diving marks on it and marks on the back of the lugs from strap changes. Please examine the pictures - they are part of the description. But none of the marks are deep scratches, dents or significant damage.

Water resistance. I get this question when I sell a modified dive watch. I make no promises or guarantees - I can only give you the facts and my opinions. This watch has NOT been pressure tested. But it has been submerged in a glass of water for 24 hours and came out with flying colors. When I mod a watch, I grease up all the seals and use a three-prong caseback wrench to tighten the back down. The crystal is the exact diameter for this watch. This is the nicest watch I have owned, let alone modified, so I used all new Seiko gaskets on the crystal and case back. I have modded probably 10, give or take, dive watches and none have leaked when tested in a glass of water. There is no guarantee implied, but I honestly don’t see how this watch wouldn’t be water resistant to the factory specs.

Timing. I don't time or track my mechanical watches, but this one is running fantastic. When I'd wear for a 2-3 weeks, there would be no deviation in the minute hand.

The watch comes with everything pictured:

- The bracelet currently has all of the links in it that it came with - I have a larger wrist.
- Prospex box with leatherette pillow.
- Books and hang tags.
- Plastic strap if you're a masochist.
- Silicon Seiko strap w/titanium hardware. This is one of the newer ones that is super soft and pliable. I replaced the steel hardware with titanium hardware from a titanium Marinemaster. This hardware matches the watch way better. The only hitch is the titanium keeper is pretty tight. I just never got around to bending it out slightly. The steel hardware from this rubber strap is included.
- Stock crystal, chapter ring and gaskets.

I am asking $700 u.s.d. or best reasonable offer. Don't be shy. I like wheeling and dealing!

Paypal only. I will cover Paypal fees and shipping (tracked and insured) to any USPS zip code - basically as long as I don’t need a customs form. Outside of that, shipping will be the cost of your preferred method minus domestic shipping (about $5 - $10).
