I picked this one up recently to see if I would like a vintage piece. It is a super fun piece, just a tad too small for my taste. Let’s do this!

Case: This is a vintage piece from the 60’s, so it shows signs of wear. Please see the pics. Here are the basic specs (roughly):

35mm wide
13mm thick
41mm lug to lug
18mm lug width

Very vintage specs!

Crystal: The domed, acrylic crystal is probably original. Since it is acrylic, there are scratches and signs of wear, but nothing major and you still get that great, domed acrylic effect.

Dial: This all original dial might be the most striking feature on the watch. It is a patina’d Gloss finish with some very feint loom and numbers at the 12, 6 and 6 locations.

This dial is original and has a great way of being many colors depending on the light angle.

Bezel: This is a bi-directional bezel with one major chip in it. It does turn smoothly in both directions, no clicks.

Movement: The 17 jewel, hand wind movement was serviced 9 months ago and works great! I haven’t timed it, but with winding it daily it seems to keep good time. This is a non-hacking, not quickset date movement.

The date wheel is also cool on this one. The even numbers are black and odd numbers are red. It is a nice touch and makes me wonder why more watch makers don’t do this.

Bracelet: It will come on an aftermarket bracelet that is probably vintage itself. It looks great on the watch and is sized for my 7” wrist. No extra links, but with claps micro adjustments, it can probably fit up to a 7.5” wrist.

No box or papers with this one, I am not the original owner.

What you see is what you get, so please ask questions if you have any.
