Lovely vintage Enicar Sherpa 300 Automatic circa 1970s - all original.

This watch had a full service in 2016 with a repairer registered with the British Horological Institute.

This is a lovely all original vintage watch (strap is after market), not a re-dial. The case is in stainless steel and has nice thin lugs. The original dial is silver and has the great saturn logo. It has a sweep seconds hand and a date aperture. The stainless case is in generally very good condition with some very light marks to one side of the case - see images. For a piece of this age, I would describe the overall condition very good considering its original dial, case and crown. The crystal is generally very clean and scratch free. There are some marks to the very edges of the dial, but these are not really noticeable (please see pics).

The watch has its signed Enicar caseback, and the original signed Enicar crown with the Saturn logo. The watch measures at around 35mm diameter without the crown. The watch is on an after market black leather strap.

The watch is running well and keeps pretty good time, however I can't guarantee the accuracy of any vintage watch.

Notes from 2016 repair above:
Bolt spring required but not available. This will not affect the working of the watch but there will be no click when the winder is pulled out or pushed in for setting. It may also mean that the date change is affected, though this does work. In addition, the tip of the auto rotor had worn away and no replacement part was available. However, the BHI repairer repaired this himself and it is now working fine. Even if that repair failed (it will not last forever), the watch would work by manual winding.

Condition is used. Please view all of the images as these form a vital part of the description.
