SOLD!For sale is a vintage Zodiac Seawolf Diver, circa mid 1960s. 35mm case (not including crown). Caliber 70-72 automatic movement. The watch was serviced while in the care of the previous owner just before I bought it, making the service less than a year ago. While I have no documentation, it is running well at =/- 6 seconds per day. The winding is smooth, not Seiko smooth, but very smooth for a vintage Zodiac. Date setting works perfectly. Power reserve isn't stellar, as you might expect on a vintage automatic. But worn regularly, it hasn't been an issue. If the watch sits unworn, it'll need winding daily. There are plenty of light surface swirls on the case and a few on the domed acrylic crystal, which can probably be removed/reduced with "Polywatch" but far less than wheat you find on most Seawolf divers of this age. It was also lightly polished, but still maintains all case back markings. There is some fade on the bakelite bezel around 6:00, visible in the photos. Bezel turns and clicks as it should. The patina on the dial is excellent, with slight tropical-dark browning in bright sunlight, otherwise black with all lettering intact. Patina'd lume still on number triangle plots. Overall, this watch is in great condition with a nice balance of that vintage hard-earned patina while still being legible and easy to wear daily. Comes with a new old stock Perlon woven strap. $500 shipped within conUS with tracking. I'll try to answer any questions as best I can, no trades at this time unless it's an Archimede Outdoor Protect 39, thanks!
