SOLD: Sandoz diver - Sub clone with ETA 2824-2

I am selling an old Sandoz diver I picked up used about 10 years ago. I'd planned to install a yellow or orange dial but after a few months I didn't find a dial I liked so the watch has sat forgotten and unused in a closet for the last decade. The movement is a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic that runs but gains 23 seconds per day so it could use regulation. Quick set date function works fine. Service history is unknown.

The case is in good shape with a few light scratches plus a couple of heavier scratches on the case back. It has a 40mm bezel and 20mm lugs, lug to lug is 47mm. It has a signed screw down crown and a 60-click unidirectional bezel, the pip lines up at 12 properly. It is a 100m case but has not been pressure tested and no doubt could use new gaskets. The crystal is mineral with a date magnifier and is scratch free. The dial and hands have light green lume that glows green. The watch comes on a clean, unworn generic nylon strap. No box or papers.

USA/Canada sale only. I am asking $225 which includes CONUS shipping and Paypal fees. Paypal users MUST have a Paypal verified address. No trade offers please. PM me or email at james.white25 AT sbcglobal.net (replace AT with @ and remove the spaces).

The photos are of the actual watch taken today. Please excuse any dust or fingerprints you see in the photos.

Thanks for looking and thanks to our host. :)
