For sale from my personal collection is this amazing, unworn AVI-8 Flyboy Centenary 1960s av-4060-02.
The AVI-8 Flyboy Centenary 1960s edition comes in a 316L stainless steel case that is 43mm wide and 14mm thick but wears a bit smaller then the numbers.
The design is inspired by the era of the RAF that was defined by legendary aircraft like the Lighting, the V-Class, and the Hawker Hunter.
The case features a Scratch resistant Sapphire lens and an exhibition see through caseback, the case features a fine brush finish across the bezel, case body with a finely tuned polished chamfered edge on the 22mm lugs.
The dial is translucent blue which looks stunning in sunlight, it features a RAF roundel and a subdial for the small seconds hand, Swiss super luminova is used offering a great long lasting lume.
The Centenary Edition Flyboy has a robust Japanese made Miyota 8218 Automatic movement. With a sub seconds subdial and a quickset date display the movement features 21 jewels and a 42 hour power reserve.
Each movement features the unique Centenary edition rotor - modified by AVI-8’s own team of watchmakers.
The watch comes in a cool canvas display case with outer box and papers and the original seals, the watch has not been worn except for some photos. New this watch costs three hundred and eighteen euros!
