FS: VINTAGE 1961 Hamilton 'Bradford B' ~ 22-jewel Grade 770 ~ 14k solid gold case ~ $445

Offered today is a fine Hamilton Bradford B wristwatch, featuring the last and highest grade of Hamilton's in-house manual wind movements, the 22-jewel Grade 770. This 14k solid gold watch exhibits many of the classic atomic-age design elements found on Hamilton watches of the time: a thin case, the futuristic H logo on dial and crown, a cross-hair seconds chapter, and 14k gold dot markers with printed indices, reminiscent of mid-century clocks by George Nelson and others.

The watch was serviced by RGM Watch Company in 2006, and has been used sparingly since. The movement photo below was taken at the time of service--I have not opened this watch since. Condition is as described above and shown in the photos. Note that the dial shows some age/patina, as does the seconds hand. The leather straps are from Omega and are in very good shape, and of high quality. Buckle is unsigned gold-tone. At a full wind, on my timing machine, the deviation in accuracy fluctuates between 0 seconds per day (perfect) and -3 seconds, dial down. It is strong and accurate. Please be aware that the movement in this watch is the top-grade 770 with 22 jewels, not the 17-jewel version Hamilton also made at the time.
