Up for sale is my Longines 1832 which I purchased from a local AD in February 2018.

The watch is in excellent condition having only been worn to church (yes, I know that is so cliche, but true none-the-less) having worn and treated this more like a dress watch then the a casual watch. You can only find some very faint hairline scratches on the case with very close examination with none visible at normal viewing distance. Most hairline scratches will be found on the case back. This watch is an absolute beauty with it's all high polished case, faceted polished hands, hours indices, and minute makers. The dial is pebble grained with a kind of frosted appearance that I cannot capture in photos and must be seen to be appreciated. The dark brown alligator leather strap with off white stitching provides the perfect balance to the watch and easily dresses up or down without changing the strap. The watch strap easily has 98% life left as can be seen in the attached photos. This watch can easily be your daily wear going from the office to home to night on the town. I truly believe that this watch holds its own against watches that cost 10 or more times..

Everything is in perfect working order and the watch is keeping time as one would expect of a watch from Longines, although I can only attest to this anecdotally since I do not have a time-grapher. But I can say that once wound and set, I don't have to reset it again until after it has ran down and Saturday mass rolls around again.

Why am I selling the watch might you ask? Well, I am a tool watch guy at heart and every time I try to move more towards casual/dress watches after a while I return to what my heart seems to desire the most. And I have several tool watches that can easily dress up for church. Also, I am a watch wearer, not collector. So, if a watch is not getting much if any wrist time and or does keep my attention I will move it out of my collection to make room for the next shiny object that may capture my attention.

You cannot really see any hairline scratches in these photos since they really are too faint to see unless viewing closely which my camera cannot do.

The brownish coloration you see in the curve of the pin is just a reflection of the color of the strap off the pin of the buckle.

This particulate alligator strap is what first drew me to the watch. It has far more character then the large square
parallel alligator straps that I on most watches these days. The Strap is actually two-tone medium brown with
dark brown highlights which can be seen in the photos albeit a little tough due to under-lit conditions/

wrist shot provided for sizing reference. My wrist being 71/8" in dia (approximately 18cm)
