Hello all, up for sale is my Frederique Constant Manufacture Slimeline Moonphase. First off, I just wanted to say, I absolutely love this watch! i havr this watch in the white dial as well however, and I just picked up another blue dial, so......
First off this piece comes with an in-house movement from Frederique Constant. While FC makes many nice pieces, the pieces with their in-house movements are really in a totally different league. Aside from the "Horological muscle flexing" involved in in house movements, they have a unique identity specific to the brand producing them. (As opposed to just "refinishing" an ETA or Sellita movement, and calling it caliber xxxx.) However the thing that "gets" me most with the in-house movements from FC, is it's striking beauty. From the perlage on the movement, to the hallowed rotor, to the stunningly blued screws in the movement, all scream quality, attention to detail, and punch way above the price point.

The second thing that makes this guy stand out, is the dial. This is a dial that truly changes in different light settings, from a shimmering blue to a dark almost midnight blue, this dial will continue to "pull out" new looks to wow you! (I've tried to capture a range of the dial "looks" on camera, so please check out the pics...)

The moonphase is stunning, with the deep blue background to the silver moon and stars a real sight to behold. The hands and daily are excellently done, and really pull off the whole classy look.
Comes in the real nice wooden box pictured. (Plz note, FC ships this watch in a variety of boxes. This one comes in the wooden box with a beautiful finish.) The alligator strap on this watch is a dark blue to compliment the stunning dial, and is in crisp mint shape. The strap has a deployent clasp as well, as seen in the pics.

42mm case, 11.2mm Thick, 21mm Strap.

I'm looking for $1,185 on this beauty.

Thanks for looking!
