I am offering for sale my completely unworn SBGV009. And when I say completely unworn, I mean I didn't even try it on in the shop. I had previously owned another SBGV009 so I already knew it was perfect for me. The first SBGV009 that I owned was my absolute favourite. I wore it every day for a year then I foolishly sold it. I went back to the AD and was lucky enough to find the last SBGV009 in the city and I just snapped it up. I left the box at the AD's as I was 100% confident that I would never flip this watch again. I also vowed to keep it unworn until a truly special event came along.

That special event has still not come and the watch, with its gorgeous 1960s reference lines, is just sitting in my watch box bringing no joy to anyone. Time to find it a new home.

Unlike the slightly ungainly lines of the post-80s Grand Seikos, this Limited Edition model is part of the 1960s 'self-dater' anniversary models and is easily one of the more striking modern Grand Seikos that you will find. Also unusual for a quartz Grand Seiko is the fact that this model comes with both a bracelet and a leather strap. The bracelet for this watch is still in its original plastic wrapping.

And whilst I didn't bother to lug that big old box home from the AD's, I did keep the paperwork, replete with AD stamp, serial number and details of the purchase (though I suspect the warranty period has probably expired by now).

Offered here for just £1,100 (bank transfer), with tracked, signed-for shipping included for most destinations (please let me know if you are in some exottlic location that is likely to cost a huge amount in shipping and we can discuss terms).
