Beautiful/classic elegance...40mm WWII barter Kit reissue. This is a Milus reissue of the "barter kit" made for soldiers during WWII. Powered by Sellita SW200 automatic movement.

"In the 1940s, US Navy pilots used to take a collection of precious objects along on their missions. These so-called “Life Barter Kits”, which were conceived to ensure survival of the owners, contained, notably, a Milus Snow Star watch. In homage to this flagship model from its history – and history in general."

"During WWII the US Navy put something called a “life barter kit” in navy planes. Especially those who saw duty during campaigns in the Pacific. The idea of the kit was to offer a few valuables that pilots could use to trade or sell if their plane got shot down and they needed help, information, or transportation. In the worst case scenario the kit could be used to barter for one’s life in enemy territory."
Watch is 100% blemish free...not a mark anywhere on this watch. Comes with dog tag, cufflinks, extra nato strap (black) and very nice/HEAVY box including papers/manuals.
