I have to create space for my next watch so I am selling this Rolex GMT II 16760 Fat Lady. This is the first GMT (other than the all-gold version at the time) with a sapphire crystal and independent 12 hour hand and the watch that introduced the Coke bezel insert.

This watch has a 9.6 million serial number indicating 1987, a 93150 bracelet with 593 endlinks; clasp is I8 indicating August 1984. The bracelet links show some light use, is not stretched/worn, and the clasp rivets are sound.

The bezel insert is naturally faded, and is both model and period correct.

The watch has the original crystal with a couple of slight chips at 10:00, otherwise the crystal appears flawless.

The watch includes a Priek sapphire exhibition caseback as well as the original caseback. The Priek caseback allows you to see the large balance wheel found in the 3085 movements (larger balance wheel than found in the next generation 31xx movements).

The watch has most of its original edges intact.

The dial appears in good condition along with the hands and dial dots have no flaking lume. Some dial dots show some patina, but no flaking.

My Rolex certified watchmaker inspected the watch and looks like it will not require a service for some time.

Because of the condition of the watch, I am asking $10,000 (US PayPal with fees, or wire), or any reasonable offer, shipped CONUS, and with a three-day inspection period minus shipping costs. Outside CONUS buyer pays actual shipping cost.
