Here is a very rare watch, that I am selling because I have two, and I need to sell one. I have big financial commitments looming and watches will have to go. I had been looking for one for literally years, and then two came along at once and I found my self committed to both - oops.
This watch remains in original condition, and as it was sold to me - by one of the MWO authors.
Here it is, the rare and desirable smooth back from 1971
And inside the back, with a service mark, where we see the 71 stamp
I have not serviced it in my possession. It appears to work perfectly, and service history is not known.
The watch is in overall excellent original condition. It has not been restored.
The movement looks great:
Bracelet is an original, period correct 1171 with 633 endlinks. The Bracelet has the Trapeze shape Omega Logo.
A lovely example. Is it better than the one I am keeping? Actually they are in almost identical condition, but this one came with its bracelet - and I tend not to use bracelets! So thats why I chose this one to sell.
