Here's a watch that needs no introduction to the vintage Constellation collector. The word "rare" is often overused but in this case this is truly applicable as this watch infrequently comes up for sale. Per Desmond, it's believed that these Globemasters numbered in the 100s and were manufactured for the US market. Unlike this example, many have had refinished dials.

These early US marketed Connies are affectionately called "No Name" Connies as the word "Constellation" was not printed on the dial. It's believed this was to avoid a trademark dispute.

The 2652 was the earliest Omega Constellation to feature a screw back case and is the second earliest Constellation reference after the 2648.

These articles provide further details regarding this line:

This watch was serviced last month including crown replacement. As far as I know everything else besides the strap is original to the watch (including the crystal which displays the centered "Omega" logo). It features the 354 bumper movement with the proper 13 million serial number. I digitally blurred the last few digits of the serial number in the movement photos for security reasons. The number is fully intact.

Case is gold capped with stainless steel. Caseback medallion shows all the stars. The dial is in excellent original condition and is a domed piepan design as these were predecessors to the more common faceted Connie pie pain dial. As can be seen, the dial contains a beautiful crosshair design with gold arrow markers.

Movement photos were taken prior to service. Comes with a leather strap. The Speidel bracelet is not included.

Pricing is $3500 net to me. Watch is located in the US. Here's your chance to grab this uncommon watch as it most likely will be awhile before you'll find another one for sale. Feel free to msg me with any questions! You can also email me at someonecool2@hotmail.com
