For sale one of high sought after Seiko Quartz 4803-8010 from 70’s, this is the first day-date snowflake dial from Seiko which an enhancement of the earlier QT 38-7030 model, which was successfully launched two years prior and notably featured Seiko's first-ever Snowflake dial. The dial features a captivating textured white canvas subtly accented with silver, a design element that would later used on Grand Seiko models like the SBGA011/211 The watch runs normally, powered by Caliber 4803-8010, the same reliable movement used in Seiko's high-end Superior, Grand Quartz, and King Quartz models. ▫️Production Year : July 1976 ▫️Case : 37.5 mm ▫️Lug to Lug : 42 mm ▫️ Bracelet fit up to wrist size 19.7 cm / 7.75 inch ▫️Day available in Kanji and English the movement is running perfeclty fine without any issue The watch fully functional with a refined case polish that preserves its original shape. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
