Rolex in chronograph form is a beautiful thing to begin with but the Daytona also hits that sweet spot between sporty and dressy. Maybe non more so than the two tone iteration, and this is a one owner gorgeous example from 2021 complete with boxes and card ready to be your grail! REFERENCE: 116503 YEAR: 2021 DIAL: Gold on gold - the champagne dial brings it all home! Those incredible concentric circles around the sub dial, that pop of red in the Daytona lettering, and a nice amount of lume = perfection. Even under a loupe it’s mint (and the kind of dial you most certainly need to loupe!) CASE: 40MM two tone stainless and 18k yellow gold case wears beautifully, feels like a million bucks on the wrist (so… it’s actually a bargain!) photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist. Unpolished, with full lugs and just light scratches seen on the gold bezel and case sides. MOVEMENT: Rolex’s caliber 4130 automatic chronograph movement with 72 hour power reserve and blue Parachrom hairspray.
