This is a catch and release after having over enthusiastically having bought several "new" Speedmasters over the course of just a few weeks... Hence I'm listing one of them again for sale as I have another, cleaner, example of the same reference.

If you are pursuing perfection, this watch is probably not for you... However, when you're looking for a charming and original 145.012-67 (321 movement!) with high wearability; do read on! This piece looks great on the wrist, runs like a champ and with the recent service behind it, will likely serve you daily for many years to come.

Please find an assessment of the watch below. I have attempted to be as brutally honest as can be. Also note that I am certainly not the first owner of this watch. So, I will err on the side of caution in my description.

Dial: The original dial with the characteristic applied logo. Dial body colour is very pleasing, homogeneously black. The printing is perfectly intact. There are a few faint marks on the dial, which are only visible under magnification. Note that the lume of the indices on the left side of the dial is slightly darker, possibly the result of slight moisture ingress earlier in its life.

The lume has a pleasing hue and has lost most of its luminous properties. After exposure to UV, it fades rather quickly. The application of the lume is a little blotchy, which I have seen on a few other 145.012's. Still, I am unsure to state it is original. However, given that the hands are clearly not relumed, I am leaning towards original on this one.

Hands: Original, with some minor lume loss, and as the dial, containing lume that has lost most of its luminous properties.

Case: The case clearly has seen a polish and has lived a useful live, as showcased by many minor dents and small scratches. No major damage though. The lugs retain clearly defined lines. The caseback has seen an unsuccessful (dummy) opening attempt and some scratches as the result of that. The Seamonster engraving is still there and in good order.

Bezel: Original DON bezel in with some light chips and fading, complementing the dial nicely. In very nice condition.

Movement and Serial: The reputable 321 manual wound movement with a serial in correct the 2500xxxx range. Serviced end of May 2025 by an independent Omega specialist. A service invoice and numerous replaced movement parts are present. Runs and winds smoothly with all functions working properly. At this last service, the third wheel, escape wheel, crown and pushers have been replaced. Note that the crown wasn't the original to begin with.

I have omitted taking a movement shot prior to the service and would prefer to keep it closed to preserve the seal as much as possible.

Bracelet: This watch comes head-only. Optionally, I can include a 1039 flat link with 516 end links, which I will not sell separately. Pictures available upon request.

Shipped worldwide at buyers expense, although I would strongly prefer a F2F deal in the Netherlands given the value of this piece and the added benefit of meeting a fellow OF-member in person.

I am pricing this watch in line with the Speedmaster101 price chart plus the cost of a full 321 calibre service and would consider it just above 'Good' in spite of the very slight dial damage and opening marks on the case back. On the other hand, it does pack lots of vintage charm, a really nice DON and a documented service.
