Hi everyone, for sale today is a nice Omega 168.024.

1. General introduction
A stainless steel Omega 168.024, original dial with black painted hour markers, Omega BOR with 11 endlink in very good condition, serviced, shipping fee with insurance in EU/US included.
Brand: Omega; Model: Seamaster; Reference: 168.024.

2. Detail

Dial: Original white sunburst dial with black painted hour markers; faceted date-aperture frame at 3; dauphine hands; prints, hands and hour markers are all good.
Case: The diameter is 35mm without the crown. Original case is in good condition with scratches. Original Omega knurled crown.
Movement: Caliber 564 with quickset date function, chronometer. The watch is running, all functions work as they should. Serial number is 31920474, dated to 1969. Last service in July 2025.
Glass: Original with Omega logo, no magnifying window.
Bracelet: Omega bracelet without reference with 11 end-links in very good condition; 2 removable links; triple fold clasp featuring micro-adjust with Omega logo.
Accessory: A handmade brown leather strap with quick-release spring bar, generic buckle.
Overall, this is a very good example of the reference.

Priced: 520euro for the watch + 200euro for service + 200 euro for the bracelet + 70euro for shipping (insuranced, EU/US) = 990 Euro NET to me 😜.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
