Whew, made it to the end of my declutter. Last but definitely not least, this is a 28mm vintage ladies two-tone Girard-Perregaux Equation Espace. This watch is gorgeous and extremely rare. It dates to sometime in the mid-1980s. I've only ever seen one other example for sale anywhere online, and that one was located in Europe with an asking price of $1800 (if I remember correctly). This is a quartz watch with a display back that's as beautiful as anything I've ever seen on a mechanical watch. The watch face features not only the time, but also the phase of the moon, the date, and -- my favorite part -- the solstices and equinoxes. The watch case is stainless steel with a bit of decorative gold plating, which is why I'd call it two-tone. (The plating is in outstanding condition.) This would be a great dress watch for a woman who wants something unique and interesting without being flashy. I like to imagine that this watch belongs to a busy sorceress who needs to keep track of the moon cycle and solstices for her spells. I'm selling this watch because I've gone to exactly two dressy occasions in the last six years: as nice as this Equation Espace is, I don't need a dress watch.
