**Description**: Most Millenials’ first Pokemon card, I cut, treated, and placed a Base Set Charmander card from 1999 in an aftermarket case. The card dial itself has some wear as it is 26 years old, but the wear does not take away from the design. I assembled this myself a couple of days ago, so I’m not in a rush to sell, though I am not wearing it for the sake of saying it’s a “New” watch. **Case**: Unworn; sand blasted Stainless Steel; 38mm, around 10.5mm thickness. No wear. **Band**: At ask, comes with both bands (grey and red), but I can negotiate for either or neither bands. I have some other ones on hand, but they have been used, so you’ll just have to ask me. **Movement**: VH31, a mecha-quartz movement designed by Seiko. **Price**: Asking $150 shipped CONUS. I use USPS. Discount for local/cash transactions (greater NYC area)

Lange was founded in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in the town of Glashütte, near Dresden, in the state of Saxony. Under Ferdinand, and then, following his death, his sons Emil and Richard, Lange produced quality pocket watches, the company's very best products generally being given the "1A" designation. Under subsequent generations of the Lange family, the company continued to produce pocket watches and, like many German watch makers, produced oversized wrist watches for use by German airmen in World War II.

In 1948, the post-war Soviet administration expropriated the company's property, and the Lange brand ceased to exist. However, in December 1990, following German reunification, the founder's great-grandson Walter Lange, together with watch industry executive Günter Blümlein, restored the company with the assistance of several Swiss watch manufacturers, including IWC and Jaeger-LeCoultre. The refounded Lange, again operating from Glashütte, presented its first range of wrist watches in 1994. Today, A. Lange & Söhne (litt. A. Lange & Sons) wrist watches are sold globally and Lange, like IWC, is a member of the Richemont group.
