His seals are made from EPDM synthetic elastomer which is superior and apparently will last the life of the watch. * Crown seal gasket (but apparently, it might not be possible to install, due to the seal being packed into the crown.) but I bought it anyway. * I never got around to installing the parts cos the originals were still great. **What the new owner should know:** * The 45GS/KS movement has a few features -- Which is actually pretty cool and I wish modern Seikos had them. * Quickset will not change unless the hour hand is past the “danger zone”, so if the date slips, just move the hour hand between the 5-7’oclock position. * Seconds hand will NOT move after winding the watch, it will only start once you push the crown in. So the proper way to set the watch is this. 1) Wind watch, 2) Pull out crown to set time 3) Push crown in 4) Seconds hand will start moving.
