It’s one of the original “3h” EZM 1’s with the famed Lemania 5100. I got a full service last year (almost to the day) from Sinn HQ in Frankfurt for over 1300 euros. In addition to the full service (gas insert, moisture sensor, movement service) it also got a new balance and is running perfectly.

It’s got a few markings, mostly on the caseback and clasp, but nothing too significant in my opinion. One of the end links sits a little lower and can probably be adjusted. It’s not very noticeable but I can feel it when I run my thumb over the end link and case. Currently fits up to 7.25” wrist but you can purchase more links from Sinn if you’d like to expand it.

This is sold as watch only but includes service paperwork from Sinn. It’s probably been worn 4 times since I serviced it and that’s why I’m selling it. I’ve found that I just don’t wear it enough.

May consider some trades for a Polerouter Sub or certain Speedmasters (plus/minus cash).

Sinn Spezialuhren GmbH is a manufacturer of mechanical wristwatches based in Frankfurt am Main. The company was founded in 1961 by flight instructor and pilot Helmut Sinn under the name ‘Helmut Sinn Spezialuhren’.

Following its foundation in 1961, the company focused on the manufacture of navigation cockpit clocks and pilot chronographs and sold these through direct selling, bypassing retailers. The clocks and watches were produced according to pilot Helmut Sinn’s specifications in the private label sector in Switzerland. By eliminating the trade margin of the retailers, the company was able to offer its clocks and watches at a lower price than through traditional sales channels.

In 1994, Helmut Sinn sold the company to Lothar Schmidt. Following the sale, he acquired Swiss watchmaker Guinand in 1996. In 1998, he set up a new company in Frankfurt am Main. With this company, he offered brand watches from Jubilar, Chronosport and the newly acquired Guinand. In 2006, he retired from business activity. Since handing over the management of the business to his long-standing employee Horst Hassler, he now acts as an advisor to the company. On September 3rd 2016 Helmut Sinn celebrated his 100th birthday.
