Seiko Chronograph “John Player Special” ref. 6138-8039 circa 1976 A motorsports inspired design, the John Player black and gold livery used by the Lotus team in the ‘70s and ‘80s has lead Seiko to manifest a tasteful and balanced dial with squared-off sub-dials at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions. While no service history on this one, the automatic movement is healthy and the chronograph and quickset day/date are functioning properly.
