got a super cool watch up for sale this memorial day weekend (for us in the states) getting right into it, first of all, i believe this watch to be an original watch— no aftermarket parts from what i can tell and also that a watch maker i took it to as well. perhaps a crystal might have been changed once in its life? can never be sure without service history, but the current crystal has no major marks— just your typical hairline marks you pick up on a mineral crystal over the years. definitely believe the bezel and insert to be all original as well— small scratch on the insert on the left side, but honestly i never noticed when i wore it and doesn’t detract from the over all wearing/viewing experience the case has super sharp and crisp lines— definitely has the classic micro scratches over the years and a couple of pretty minor nicks around the crown, but generally looks great pushers are in great condition and have a satisfying click. one of the pushers used to slightly stick, but my old watch maker buddy noticed it was slightly warped and straightened it out— no replacement there starts and stops the chrono great— the only minor inconvenience is the chrono resets a hair past 0. if you’re like me, you like to keep it running, and in fact this is a chronograph where you can keep the chrono running without damage to the watch due to the clutch wheel (info from spencer klein’s awesome video) dial and hands (and chapter ring) are the real stars of the show— simply amazing condition no signs of damage or water intrusion here the photos are fairly acurate to how they look IRL also, i don’t know the service history, but it is running GREAT for a watch from 50 years ago— photos of watch on timegrapher in 4 positions shown lastly, on an uncle seiko bracelet fitted to my 6.75 inch wrist, with 2 extra links included want to put this up for $799 shipping included via USPS priority mail i take paypal, and if you want to do via goods&services, please add 3% to the total i’m open to trades for other watches too potentially— especially vintage seikos. i’d love a bruce lee 6139, but dm if you have a cool vintage seiko! please reach out with any questions you may have and i’ll do my best to answer! thanks!
