Hello everyone. Up for sale is a lovely little dress piece: the Citizen Jet Auto Dater. The case is in overall good condition but the case back could use some love. The dial is an understated champagne color with a sunburst effect and has begun to show some minor discoloration in certain spots however I believe the branding steals the spotlight. A streamline jet has taken it's place above the cursive-like font that seals the 60s look and vibe. The movement is a little different than what one would expect. It's an automatic that can also be manually wound but the rotor is what grabs the attention. While shaking it the peripheral rotor (first used by Citizen) makes a very loud noise compared to other autos which is normal for it's design. A peripheral rotor is ring shaped with asymmetrical weighting and a toothed edge in the interior which is super neat to look at and hear. It functions beautifully and keeps exceptional time.
